A little history

In 1959, as Cherry Hill Township and nearby communities were beginning the transition from farmland to bustling suburbs, a small group of people began to pray. They had a vision of a thriving, friendly church, focused on God and His word, which would reach out with the message of the Gospel to their growing neighborhood.

With this vision and lots of prayer, they stepped out, meeting first in homes, then in Stafford School and finally on our present campus. Through all of this, God has been faithful, providing for every need, growing His Church, just as He promised.

Today, this same purpose is being strengthened and renewed through focus on the words of Jesus Christ when He spoke of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. This God-given model is a plan for growing a healthy and balanced congregation in the soil of everyday people who hear His words, believe what He said and step out in faith.
